Grew up in Houston Texas with her parents and two older siblings. An ‘A/B’ student most of her life, and very involved in extra-curricular activities. Choir, Cheer, etc. All of that came crashing down however when she came home late one day after cheer practice.

Still in her cheer uniform, she arrived there with a friend to a gaggle of police officers and EMT’s carrying out three body bags on stretchers. According to reports, Max’s Mother, Father, and older sister, had basically been drained of their blood.

Max and her brother were heartbroken, and completely confused when they were sent out to San Antonio to live with their Aunt Shelly, who took them under her wing. At the age of Seventeen, when Shelly bought Max her first car after she’d gotten her license, she dropped out of school and she booked it out of town, desperate to find whatever it was that had killed her family.

For Years she hunted, following the trail she’d picked up on the Vampires that had murdered her family.

There are two left, two she still hasn’t found but now nearing 30 years old, she’s slowing down a little. She keeps a semi-furnished apartment on the outskirts of Manhattan, and tends bar at a little dive just down the street.

She doesn’t quite follow her original mantra of “Shoot first, ask questions later” anymore, too much risk.
